Yes. KCIH is a specialist children’s hospital with a Level-3 NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) on-site.
Newborns brought to our Emergency Department with critical conditions are stabilised and transferred immediately to our NICU for intensive neonatal care.
Our Emergency Department has a dedicated obstetric team for pregnancy-related emergencies including preterm labour, eclampsia, postpartum haemorrhage, and foetal distress. Our gynaecology and obstetrics consultants are on call around the clock.
